The Juice Journal: Summer Sustenance

Unlike the summers of our childhood, the season for fun under the sun doesn’t mean that work stops. It only means we have to keep lively for all our outdoor pursuits after we get our jobs done. Despite our vacation- and work-packed schedules, it’s easy to squeeze some health into our lives through juicing.

To kick a new workweek off, The Start jumpstarts your body with a refreshing apple, carrot, and cucumber juice that packs some everyday essentials. Enough can’t be said about apples and carrots, which are fierce antioxidants that aid the immune and digestive systems, while cucumbers supply a beauty boost and optimum hydration for the hot weather.

Drop these ingredients into a juicer or blender and power through your workdays with enough energy to spare for your weekends!



7 Carrots (smaller variants are sweeter)

1 Cucumber

2 Apples (green apples have greater health benefits than red ones)



1. With their skins on, drop all the ingredients into a juicer and get juicing!


Do not forget to wash the ingredients thoroughly.  It’s better to use organic vegetables and fruits. Otherwise, soak your fruits and vegetables in a bowl of water with 1 teaspoon of Apple Cider vinegar for 10 minutes to take out toxins and pesticides.
