Inside Out: Family Recreation Despite the Rain

With the schizophrenic season setting in, you never know if a weekend will be met with clear skies or a heavy downpour. Sure, we’ve got enough apps and downloaded television to keep us cozy in our own homes but at The Start, we believe that family outings must remain sacred.

As we’ve discovered, there are numerous places around The Vantage in Kapitolyo that make for a many-splendored day out, indoors. Put the tablets, laptops, and Pokemon Go down, because these places are just minutes away from your Rockwell Primaries unit. A surprise of rain may keep us indoors but it won’t dampen a day of leisure with our loved ones.

Climb Central prides in being the biggest indoor rock climbing gym in the Metro, as well as being beginner friendly. It’s perfect for families as it offers adult+child day passes. Bring the whole family, because even children ages five and up can scale walls with supervision and tire out in time for an afternoon nap.

Board games have always made for great bonding experiences. And while board game cafes have popped up everywhere in the Metro, few can really offer delicious food at good prices – or a vast selection of your favorite games to roll the dice on. Whether you grab good ol’ Monopoly or Kittens in a Blender from its shelves, some healthy play will make for an intimate family bonding experience.
