The Metro South is no stranger to thrills what with the numerous ways one can enjoy the outdoors. As yesterday’s Gastroventure at East Bay Residences proved, the South can also offer foodies a taste of something new and exciting.
Held at East Bay’s Pool Deck, Gastroventure presented guests a wide selection of tasty bites from its soon-to-rise partner development and food park, The Yard. Setting up stalls around the cool blue of East Bay’s pool were in-demand eats such as Southern Grind Bistro, Crazy Quesadilla, Chicken Joe, Pitmaster Grill, Mr. Wawgyu, Three Guys and a Grill, and Xalxa. Besides the char-riffic plates, a sunny grill-out was complimented with necessary refreshments (and sweet frosty favorites) from We Serve Tea First and Bingsurprise, which put smiles on kids’ faces with every icy spoonful of a special unicorn variant.
As the crowd gathered around picnic tables at The Clubhouse at East Bay Residences and everyone got to know the property as well as each other, Gastroventure whet our appetites for the sense of community we’ve been craving for in the area. It’s certainly the kind we’ll experience when The Yard opens at the East Bay Retail Park in early 2018. A well-rounded lifestyle is cooking at East Bay Residences and we can’t wait to grab a seat at the table.
